Creating Business Goals for 2019

It’s the time of the year when we reflect on 2018, and we look to 2019’s big goals.

Hopefully, we’ve all had a great 2018, and if you haven’t or it just didn’t go as planned, you are probably looking to 2019 to make or start making those goals/dreams come true. Maybe you had a great 2018, and 2019 is going to be a hard act to follow. In that case maybe your goals are more defined or specific.

I thought I’d share some of my goals for 2019, to give an idea of what I’m looking to strive towards for 2019, and some insight into how I set my goals.

  1. Attend more networking events, but only those that most closely align with my brand. Because I need to make sure that I have time (and low expenses) for all of my business commitments, I will be taking a hard look at the events that I attend in 2019, to make sure they relate to my brand/BMCo.

  2. Prioritizing. My to-do list can be daunting most days, so I intend to make more of an effort with prioritizing, and time management goals.

  3. Eating Healthy. My eating in 2018 went by the wayside the busier that I became, and I need to make sure that I am either meal prepping or planning around eating better, so I have more brainpower, energy, and quite frankly, watch my spending!

  4. Helping Others. Helping others make their dreams come true is one of the main reasons I started my business! I’m going to be looking at ways that I can serve my clients and potential clients better this year.

  5. Increase Real Life Engagement. Staying even more involved with the community, in order to meet the needs of Baltimore & beyond.

These are just a few examples, and even though some I am already doing, I think they bare repeating so that I remember with a goal blueprint- why I started this business and what’s the most important to me in regards to it.
